The Giant and My New Addiction Went prawning again last week and this time we really hit the jackpot. There was a slight drizzle when we were making our way down, but just minutes after we arrived it turned into the mother of all storms. Not only was it raining cats and dogs, but elephants and pigs too. Anyway, the rain didn't turn out to be such a bad thing after all. That's because most people wouldn't want the hassle of travelling down in such bad weather just to catch a few prawns. Which actually meant we had almost the entire pond to ourselves. And boy did we make full use of it. I think we caught like almost 50 prawns in total? I really lost count, but just look at the number of shells and heads on the table and be amazed for yourself. And not only did we catch loads of prawns, PiPi even managed to catch a gigantuous prawn that should have been living in the pond for a few million years. And the best part is that she didn't catch it by the mouth, but rather she managed to hook onto one of it's giant claws and slowly yank the whole thing out of the pond. The And apart from that, I recently have become an addict. I have to have it everyday, at least 3 times a day, or else I'll feel very lost and letagic. Every time I see I will have that deep urge from the bottom of my gut to go make use of it. So I'm going to openly admit to everyone now that I have an undying obsession for... I just can't leave it alone after learning how to solve it! My current fastest time is 2 minutes and 36 seconds. And I will not stop until I manage to do it within a minute! Yes, you can call me a geek for all you like, but I'm addicted to the Rubik's Cube! Oh, and 1 last thing,my results are out and amazingly I managed to get straight As for the first time in my life since Primary 1. Hopefully this trend continues through my 2nd and 3rd year, although I get pissed everytime I look at my new timetable cos it's a Tuesday to Saturday school term with loads of go-to-school-for-two-hours-and-go-home kinda periods... Zzzzzz... Anyhow written on Sep 9, 2008 at 12:19 PM
