"The only way you can truly get more out of life for yourself is to give part of yourself away." This single message lit a spark in a writer's head that turned into a book that swept the world of it's feet, selling over 4 million copies worldwide. And now "The Ultimate Gift" is has been turned into a movie of the same name, starring Academy Award nominee Abigail Breslin of "Little Miss Sunshine", James Garner, Ali Hillis, Drew Fuller and Brian Dennehy. It promises to touch more hearts as the 300 plus pre-screenings have already resulted in over $5 million being donated to charity. This is the official site of the movie "The Ultimate Gift" and the grass-roots movement its starting to help charities and give to others. Being a values-orientated movie, it obviously does not have the multi-million dollar budget of a typical blockbuster, but amazingly enough, it was so powerful that 20th Century Fox brought it into 800 theaters for its release. It even sparked a unique teen philanthropy initiative called "Show Of Hands" and has even gotten schools to incorporate the message into their curriculums. Having so much hype about it, it's sure to invoke heart-felt values and help various charities world-wide. The movie opens March 9th, but you can get a glimpse on youtube right here.
