The End is Near, I Can Smell It Assignments, assignments and more assignments. Deadline is in 2 days time and I've got about 5 more questions to finish up. Life's a bore when you're stuck in front of your computer for almost the entire day, occassionally being a 'kaypo' on facebook but mostly hoping that the answers will magically type themselves out on your microsoft word document template that you have been reusing for the past 3 assignments. Weather's been real bad these days. Isn't the rainy season supposed to be over already? Why is it still raining like every freaking day? And even as I type this, the clouds above me are getting darker by the minute. And to think I was contemplating of going rollerblading this afternoon. Been feeling a little under the weather lately, and seeing how this weather is not helping at all, I might be coming down with a cold sooner rather than later. Stomach's been rather weak and anything that has chilli that goes in would almost certainly come out the other way on the same day. My ears have been a victim to the torture that is the drilling and pounding of the lift construction just outside my door. I wonder when the day will come when I can finally enjoy peace and quiet at home without having to blast my music and wear ear muffs at the same time. Anyway, my internal clock seems to be badly screwed up. Been sleeping at 4 or 5am and waking up no earlier than 1pm everyday. This morning I even set a new record, going to bed when people are waking up for work, at 7am in the morning. Brought PiPi to take a ride on the world's largest Kinda lazy to upload the massive amount of The Singapore Flyer Logo Inside the Capsule City View from the Wheel Look, there's even a safety net. But I doubt it would really save anybody falling from that height I think this looks better over here Smile, your on candid camera! This would make a great Levi's Advert From the ground up The best part of the ride was when we were reaching the top of the wheel and computerised voice that sounded suspiciously similar to that purple ape from Bonzi notified the cabin that 'You are now reaching the the highest point of the the Singapore Flyer' or something to that extent. Err, yeah. So? What do you expect us to do? Celebrate by jumping up and down like crazy monkeys while clapping our hands above our heads? Ok, time to get back to my assignments. I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. But I can also see the entrance of the next tunnel coming soon too. Anyhow written on Mar 22, 2008 at 4:06 PM
0 bored people said something about this I just burnt a huge hole in my pocket this week. Spent near to a whole 40 bucks on DOTA sessions at Simpang Bedok throughout the duration of this week. Went down a total of 3 times this week as compared to the usual once a week schedule that we usually maintain. Each session on average costs about $10 as we usually stick for about an hour or 5, but the last session this week was the killer. I still remember the staff at the counter telling us "For your information, you all played for 6 hours and 54 minutes". Oh, and did I mention that we were using the VIP room because there were no more coms in the main hall? Which translates to an addition 50cents per hour. And that cost us a total of 17.50 each. Ouch. I need somebody to plant me a money tree, and another person to start shaking it for me. Cos my bank is now on a reducing balance method. And pretty soon there won't be any more balance for it to reduce too. Anyone interested to be my sugar mummy? Anyhow written on Mar 16, 2008 at 9:18 PM
1 bored people said something about this I'm sore and banged up. Got into 2 fights in a single day. And the result is a sore left shoulder and a blue-black on my left knee. The first fight happened in the comfort of my own home. My opponent? The wall beside the my room door. After locking up the door after my auntie left, I rushed back at full speed to my laptop in my room as it was on a game that couldn't be paused and is running the risk of having the words 'Game Over' flashing in my face. And in my hurry, I managed to engage the wall beside my door with my left shoulder. The impact was so great that I spun 180 degrees and landed flat on my bum. No prizes for guessing who won that fight. It was a miricle that I managed to get back to my game without any further injuries... ...until that afternoon. My icthy feet decided to bring me to East Coast Park for a couple of hours of rollerblading, and more importantly to get a nice tan. The first hour breezed pass without incident. I have the habit of dropping in to 7-11 to get a big gulp to cool myself off after 1 hour of blading. So there I was, happily listening to my mp3 player, blading gracefully along the uneven cycling track and occassionally taking a sip out of the big gulp in my left hand. It was when I finished my big gulp that I got into my second fight of the day. I was looking for a dustbin to throw my empty gulp into when I spotted this green dustbin in the distance. And because it was a downslope towards that dustbin, the only reason that I managed to break in time is because the dustbin helped me to come to a complete stop. Thats when I gave a hard kneejab to the dustbin with my left knee for the dustbin's efforts. Guess again who won that fight? Oh, and I think I almost gave that old lady who was doing some sort of taichi exercise just beside the dustbin a heart attack. So here I am now, back in the safety of my home [or not, since my first fight happened just 6 steps away from where I'm sitting right now] typing this with a limp left arm and leg. The only saving grace was that I managed to snap a beautiful picture of myself against the setting sun with the beach and sea in the background. Enjoy! Look at that golden tan! Ok, it's just the angle of the sun Anyhow written on Mar 8, 2008 at 4:58 PM
0 bored people said something about this Another assignment deadline over. Which means the start of the next assignment rush. And this time I only have about 20 days to complete all 3 subject assignments. Yippie. Didn't snap a photo of this time as it was quite a rush. For the first time, I only completed all my assignments on the due date itself. And let me be the first to say that that was not a fun experience. Tommorrow will be the last day of my prelims. Hopefully I can pass all of them with falling colours, cos I didn't really study for any of them. That's cos they don't count for anything in the final grades that I'm gonna get. Oh, and I just got a letter from the nation telling me that I have the responsibility to serve the nation for 2 weeks somewhere in the mid of Sept. And that's when my 2nd year of classes starts. Hopefully they will not be bastards and accept my request for a defferment. Ok, time for some gaming. Will keep you guys updated when I get the results. Anyhow written on Mar 5, 2008 at 12:14 AM
