With the communication power of the Internet, anything is possible now. Even finding a date can be done through the Internet. Online dating sites are the rage nowadays because one can actually pick and choose from a list of thousands of potential partners. And one of these great online dating sites is FriendFinder. Not only does it provide a alternative means to meet singles in your country or within your area, but it also has an online chat where you can chat with potential partners and get to know them better before deciding if you want to meet them in real life. All you have to do is to provide some information on what type of date your looking for like the age range and country and you'll be suprised at the number of results that you will get.

Online chatting and dating can bring fantastic results when used properly. My current girlfriend and I also started out through online chats. We knew each other through some sports but didn't really talk much when we were there. Instead we started talking and finding out more about each other through online chatting. And that's when we knew that we would hit it off. And since then we have been a happy couple. So what are you waiting for? Head on down and get to know more singles in your area now!

My First Day Of Freedom

Woohoo. Woke up at 10am for the first time in many months today. And I even could afford to lazy around on the bed for another half hour before pulling myself to the bathroom to brush my teeth. [Jealous already?]

So today was my first day of many with a whole 24 hours to spend however I liked. After grabbing a quick bite from the kitchen, I slipped on my blades and headed out the East Coast Park just behind my current place. Spent about 2 hours plus blading to and fro along the park paths. Sad to say, today was not a very lucky day at the park. I had a total of 0 sightings of pretty ladies on wheels. Yup. Zip. Nato. Ko-song. A whole 2 hours of blading and not a single eye candy to be seen in sight. But I did see something less spectacular. A group of uncles having a day out at the beach.

There was this group of almost 10 uncles, complete with beer-bellys, curly hair, saggy man-breasts and the rest of the works, having a ball of a time splashing around the coastline and occassionally running up to the shore to grab a you-tiao to munch on. Yes, believe me, it was not the prettiest sight. Luckily they were decent enough to wear swim shorts instead of those sexy triangle trunks, which might have caused more than a few crashes on the cycling paths near them. I was tempted to whip out my phone and snap a shot but I was worried that my phone would hang at such an awe-inspiring sight. And on my way back from the park, I took the wrong exit and ended up making one big round around the world just to get back home.

After a self-bought lunch, I sat myself down in front of my laptop and started with some mapling. Yes kiddos, I'm back to mapling. Since there ain't nothing better to kill time with compared to Maplestory, I have fallen back into the addictive trap. After training for 3 hours with 2 times experience provided by the Maple 2nd anniversary, I was lucky enough to be able to level up. Right now Mr GreenSnail is at level 97, trying to get to level 100 before the end of the week where they will remove the free 2 times experience slots [damn]. And maybe after that I will quit Maple again. Suprising my account was still in tack and was not hacked in by anyone during my close to 1 year of inactivity.

The 2 times experience ended at 4.30, and so did my training. After which, got down to some serious business and gave myself a long owed workout. 100 twist sit-ups and 100 leg raises with 50 knuckle push-ups for dessert. And that brings us to the current time slot of 5+ pm. I guess it will be back to the laptop and DOTA after dinner.

This would most probably be my daily routine for the entire month. Hopefully I can gain back my 6-pack before the start of school. Maybe I need to increase my daily work-out quota too. Wish me luck...

Last Day at Work

Goodbye Manjusri Secondary School. Today is my last day working as a Technology Assistant [read IT support guy] for the school under HP. Now I can finally wake up when I want to and still have all the time in the world to do whatever I want to do. Some people say that an entire month of nothing to do is too long but I beg to differ.

As most of you know, I have already passed my bridging in Maths with flying colours [read Grade A] and am now an official student of SIM, well, in one month's time actually. Cos school officialy starts on 30th July, so I effectively have 1 entire month to rest and relax before hitting the books again.

Anyway, let's get back to the topic. There will definitely be people I will miss at the school, and of course some that I won't. And here's a quick list of some of them...

1. Teacher's Assistant cum AV Assistant cum Part time admin clerk, A.K.A. Kelvin
My good buddy seated next to me in the office. As you can tell by is post, he's practially doing 3 jobs in one. Hey school, just because you pay him his salary doesn't mean that you can squeeze every ounce of money back from him by making him do all that nonsense. Talk cock buddy cum lunch kaki, this tall dude has the hots for volleyball and I bet he's pretty darn good at it too. I mean who trains for 10 hours straight in a day? Will definitely miss this great guy. Just endure a little longer, your time is coming soon. Take care buddy.

2. My Direct-In-Charge cum HOD-IT, Mr Kok
Very seldom do you hear that the supervisor and the subordinate have totally no problems with each other. And this is one of those rare cases. He's a great teacher with the knowledge and ability to be the HOD-IT [I've heard of HOD-IT's not even knowing how to print word files]. Always accomodating and soft-spoken, he's one of the kindest people I've met so far. Never once did I have to think twice about approaching him or asking him about work. Thanks for being such a great in-charge [Although I know he's probably never read this]. Hope the new TA lives up to my name.

3. The CCPE, Fauzi
Although I never really talked to him much, he's always there to sneak up behind me and try [but fail] to scare the living daylights out of me as he walks past my place and at the same time peeping at my screen to so if I have any illegitimate pictures or videos running on my screen. [There are none la, I've already out-grown Internet porn a long time ago] Great guy to just walk over and kill some spare time chatting with. Thanks for the Chicken in a Biscuit, yes I finished it in 1 morning. That's 1 reason why I don't like to snack. Cos once I open something 90% of the time the whole packet or box will end up in my tummy. Oh, and I still don't understand what CCPE stands for.

4. The Friendly Teachers
Not all of them, but most of the teachers in the staff room are cool. Always taking a moment to lift a hand to say hi whenever we walk past each other or just the friendly smile as we cross paths.

5. The Admin Staff
As with the teachers, not all of them, but most of them in the General Office have been great to work with. My heart will always skip a beat when the phone behind me beeps of the intercom sound, my ears eagerly listening if the first words out of it are "Is Anyhow there?" Lunching with you guys was always fun and the occassional joke or two would brighten up my day. We still haven't went for that pool session yet. Just give me a call when you all feel up to it.

And of course there are some people whom I'll be glad to be away from but least not point fingers here. As read in many horoscopes, a Cancer forgives but never forgets. So you're all forgiven for the hard times you've given me. Just keep away from me in the future thanks.

Transformed

Transformer Logo

Yes, Transformers : The movie will be opening soon in cinemas near you but for me, I have already done some transforming of my own. Here's a quick list of my amazing shape-shifting processes...

1. Worker to Player

After tommorrow onwards, I won't have to be woken up by that stupid ringing of the alarm clock in the early hours of the morning anymore. My last day of work will be on 27th June 2007. After that, all the work I will be doing is a occasional PayPerPost and the working-out of my body. I can smell the freshness of freedom already.

2. Silver to Black

N73 Music

Black has always been the cooler colour between the two. But when I bought my N73, I had to pay almost $200 more for the black Music Edition. So I had to settle for the silver. But not anymore. Since my copycat father has upgraded his phone to the N73 Music Edition [2nd time he's buying the exact same phone as me] I swapped my old N73 with his newer and cooler, blacker version.

3. Worker to Student

After getting my place confirmed in SIM after my amazing A grade for the Maths bridging course, I will officially become a full-time student come this August. Which means, no more fixed income, less spending power but most importantly, MORE FREE TIME and NEW FRIENDS!!! I love school life.

I'm Leaving... On a Jetplane...

SCROLL DOWN FOR MY BRAINBUSTERS ANSWERS

Don't know when I'll be back again... Well. Not really on a jetplane, but I am leaving. Last night was the last night sleeping in my bed, the last night using the toilet bowl, the last night opening my pinkish wardrobe to find the clothes that I'm gonna wear for the day. So it's goodbye to my old home at East Coast Road and hello to my temperary home at Marine Parade. A whole 7 bus stops away.

I'll definitely miss the time spent in that whitish 4 storey building, running across the road to get some MacDonalds or KFC. I'll miss the that stupid lift which I take up and down 1 whole floor everyday, and that lousy keyhole next to the lift buttons that can be opened by any key small enough to fit into it. Heck, I'll even miss that crazy white dog at the neighbour's who would always run to the their gate barking and scaring the living hell out of us everytime we try to open our gate.

I'll miss the ease of being able to walk down and immediately get cash from the ATM located just below our block. And the way people would relate to the building not as it's rightful name "The Domain" but as "That building with the POSB".

Goodbye The Domain

Well, all things will come to an end. And this is the end of the road for the Mr Anyhow and his family at The Domain. Hopefully the few months staying at Marine Parade will help us to forget the goods and bads of our previous home before we have to move again to our proper home at Simei. Actually, come to think of it, Marine Parade ain't that bad either. 5 minutes away from the town central, and 8 minutes away from Parkway Parade, I'm expecting lots and lots of things to do and food to eat when we finally settle down over there. Heck I bet I could even wake up at 10.30am and still be early for K-Box's K-Lunch at 11am.

And I still haven't found out how to get to and from my workplace to home. Most probably will have to look up streetdirectory.com in a while. In the mean time, here's one last look at the old house when everything has been emptied out... I'll miss you old house...

Brainbusters Answers

And here are the answers for Tuesday's brainbusters...

Question 1:

Guess What Am I?

I am usually long and thin.
But I may come in many different shapes and sizes.
I am hairy at one end and pointy at the other.
When I'm not in use, I am usually found hanging.
When I am in use, I am thrusted in and out of an opening quite forcefully.
Usually some white stuff will be present when I am in use.
I can be used at any time of the day and at any where.
But most people prefer to use me when they are at home.
Sometimes if i am used too forcefully, bleeding might occur.

What am I?

Answer: A Toothbrush! What were you thinking???

Question 2:

Brainbuster

A man lives on the 12th floor of a building. Everyday, he will take the lift down to the first floor when he goes to work. But when he comes back, he will stop at the 8th storey and walk 4 floors up to his home. Only when it is raining will he go directly up to the 12th floor when he comes back home. Why is this so?

Answer : He's a midget who can only reach the 8th floor button. On rainy days he can reach the 12th floor with his umbrella!

Question 3:

Hotel Bill

Three people check into a hotel. They pay $30 to the manager and go to their room. The manager finds out that the room rate is $25 and gives $5 to the bellboy to return. On the way to the room the bellboy reasons that $5 would be difficult to share among three people so he pockets $2 and gives $1 to each person. Now each person paid $10 and got back $1. So they paid $9 each, totalling $27. The bellboy has $2, totalling $29.

Where is the remaining dollar?

Answer : The all time favourite maths question. And you get the answer right here.

You can't figure in that each guest paid exactly $9 for the room because the room bill was $25 which can't be divided between 3 people evenly. Each person would have paid exactly $8.33333333333333 each.

Take the $8 x 3 people = $24
Plus $3 they were given back = $3
.33333333333333 x 3 people = $1 <--- the missing dollar
and the bellboy has $2

Total = $30

Now go on and impress your friends with these funky questions and answers.

PPP : New Music Charts

$$$ This is a PayPerPost Advert $$$

If you're a music fan, you would definitely not want to miss out on the songs that are topping the charts every week right? But how about those bands trying to get their big break? Well, tourdates.co.uk has launched a website that spots the who's hot and who's not in the unsigned bands category. Simply put, it's an unsigned chart with free music downloads from bands that could be the next big thing. Here's a press release about Britain's fastest growing music website.

tourdates.Co.UK, Britains fastest growing new music website, has launched a chart for unsigned bands.

The site allows new bands to upload promotional tracks, announce gig dates and create profiles to promote themselves alongside major artists such as the Artic Monkeys and The Twang.

Tourdates Jarrod Robinson says, there are some fantastic unsigned bands in the UK and we wanted them to know how much our community likes their music, an unsigned chart seemed the perfect answer.

Chart results are announced on the site at 19:00 every sunday, the sametime as the No1 single of the week is announced on BBC's radio 1.

Beautiful Start to the Weekend

Look what I spotted on my way back home on Friday evening. Signs of a great weekend ahead no?

Rainbow

Well, it seemed like the weekend was gonna be a fruitful one, but let's just say that it wasn't as beautiful as that rainbow. Had to wake up early on Saturday [again!] to head down to RELC building to submit another application for my Uni. Wonder why university application is so much more complexed than other low educational standards. Or maybe it's just for SIM. In any case, why would students need to apply and PAY twice to get into one uni? Firstly we had to apply and pay admin fees to get into SIM, and now they want us to apply and pay more admin fees to get into UOL! What rubbish is this? So we have to apply to SIM just to use that stupid building with almost NO facilities? Gayness.

Anyway, back to my story. Woke up early to go down to RELC building to apply for UOL, which they charge all fees in £[pounds] mind you. Good thing we were one of the earlier ones to go down, cos we only queued for about 20 minutes before it was our turn and to our surprise, when we turned around the queue was almost 3 times the length where we started. So after all our form-filling and 20cents-per-photocopy copying [daylight robbery!] We headed down to K-box to destress as the timing was just nice for K-Lunch, the cheapest and bestest value for Karaoke-money you can get anywhere. $12 per person for 3 hours of singing plus a Japanese bento set lunch and drink? What's there not to like? The only downside is that you have to wake up early to reach there on time.

So after a few hours of singing, we were stuck in Orchard with nothing to do [Again!]. I don't understand how people can spend the entire weekend [Sat AND Sun] at Orchard Road. Unless you're a shopaholic which gazillions of buckaroos to throw away at the snap of your fingers, Orchard Road is really just a boring place to sit and relax with friends. Other then that, there's absolutely nothing else to do at Orchard Road. So there we were, 3 bored guys and 1 bored girl, roaming aimlessly around Orchard trying to find something to do. Luckily Heren was having this breakdancing contest which helped us to kill a bit of our time before finally deciding to sit our asses at one of the nearby cafes and slack the remaining hours away.

Sunday was not a very unforgetable day either. Main event of the day was going to the new place in Simei, stripping off my top and resorting all the cardboard boxes that were brought in by the movers. spent a good 1 hour just bringing down, sorting and stacking back up those heavy boxes. Well, hopefully the next few weekends won't be as eventless as this.

And the Answers Are...

Welcome back to extremely difficult Wordless Wednesday : Guess-It... I told you this week's pictures were hard. And now with the flick of my wrist and the fading of a drumroll, I shall reveal the answers that everyone are so eager to find out...

Let's start with Shaz's submission.
Let's see if rotating it helps. Like I said the angle is everything...

Guest Answer 5.1

Hey! What's that brown thing behind it!! It looks like a...

Guest Answer 5.2

Yup you got it. It's a stylish wine cork all the way from Recuerdo de Mallorca, Spain.

I told you it was hard. Now mine's harder....

UNFORTUNATELY...

Because of all the confusion of moving to our new place, I totally forgot that I needed to post the answer today and happened to pack my Guess-It into one of the millions of carboard boxes that the movers helped to carry over to the new place yesterday. In other words, I don't have a pictures of the answer and therefore can only discribe it to you guys in words. So here goes... Try to understand it's a little complicated...

My Guess-It is a photo of a Japanese cartoon character called "La Pi Xiao Xin" plastic coin bank taken upwards from the bottom of the coin bank through the hole which you use to take out your money from. Xiao Xin is a cute but irritating kid that always causes trouble for his parents by his innocence, pervertedness and naughtiness. Here's a picture from google so you guys can get a better idea of what the actual coin bank looks like.

Xiao Xin

I'll try to post the picture up ASAP, but that will take almost 2 months because we have to wait for the renovation to be completed before we can start unpacking...

Ok let's see now... We have a total of... 0 players who got this week's answers right. But not to fear, we still have a winner. This week's Humourous Award goes out to Jams O Donnell for his hilarious guess of

"The second is obviously an attempt by a Samurai to gain access to your house via the toilet!"

Toilet Bowl

Ok that's all for this week's Guess-It. Oh, did I mention that WW : Guess-It submissions are still being accepted? Just send in a picture or two [with or without the answer] and a short hint to anyhowblogs@gmail.com and your picture will soon be part of my Guest Star Guess-It. Remember to send me the answer pictures in a seperate email so I can play along too! So let's see em submissions come rolling in!

Dropped Hair

Finally went to cut my hair after waiting for so long. A haircut was long overdue but I had to wait for Pipi because she said she wanted to cut her hair after the exams. Anyway, the point is we finally went down to the new salon that James [our hairstylist] works at, HairWorks at CityLink. Was kinda small compared to the previous place but his service was just as good.

Was thinking of colouring my hair but since I still have about 2 more weeks in this school, I decided to keep the colouring till the next visit. Sometimes I really envy those of you who can keep your hair long. Because of my gay family genes, any stand of hair that is longer than 'short' will start to curl and bend in a very unpleasant shape. And NO I WILL GO FOR REBONDING. What's the point of rebonding such short hair just so it will start curling again in 2 months time? So I guess I will just have to accept the fact that I will be stuck with short, spunky hair for the rest of my life. I wonder how many styles short hair can have... What if I've used them all before I reach 40? Then what? Drop everything and go for the egghead look?

Anyway, coming to work this week has been agonisingly boring. With practically nothing to do, but sit here and stare at my laptop, I really need something to kill my time with. Even playing DOTA isn't enough to waste the entire 8 hours that I have to be in school. Well, hopefully I can endure through this 2 weeks. Last day of work will be on the 27th of June. After that I have about 1 month to get my body back in shape before heading back to school. Hopefully I can see my abs again by then. I miss them so...

Short Hair Again

Handsome again in short hair. Who says short ain't sexy?

Busy Busy Weekend

Scroll down for my WW : GuestStar Guess-It Answer Part 2

anyhow --

[noun]:

An alien

'How will you be defined in the dictionary?' at QuizGalaxy.com

Yup, that sounds about right

This weekend was a particularly busy one. In fact, I didn't have a single hour to myself throughout the entire weekend. Saturday was mostly spent shopping for bedlinen. Oh and Sunday too.

The shopping habits of my family are crazy. Just Sunday alone we spent a grand total of a whooping 1,000.00 dollars on all the shopping alone. And that didn't include the carparking charges and petrol costs. Here's a list of the stuff that we bought over the weekend...

$$ 4 complete sets of bedlinen and quilt covers for my room

$$ 4 complete sets of bedlinen and quilt covers for my sister's room

$$ A tampered glass chopping board

$$ A set of 8 different-colour-tinted drinking cups

$$ Skin-care products for my cousin

$$ Hello Panda chocolate biscuits

$$ Cardigans for my sis

$$ A Nike Bag for myself

Well, the only saving grace for a whole weekend of shopping is that I found a new slingbag to replace my almost broken Spider-Bag. Yup. If you have been following my blog from the start of the year, you would know that I bought this bag from a store in Cineleisure where you can print your own image on the cover of the bag. I designed a spider icon and had it printed on my bag but although it was beautiful and all, the bag's durability was less than acceptable, within 2 months the sling was coming out from the side. The owner of the store was kind enough to replace one FOC for me but the same thing happened to the replacement bag within another 3-4 months.

So I gave up on having my own personalized bag and opted for a sleaker blackish nike bag. At first I wasn't sure if my laptop could fit into it as it looked a tad too tiny for my laptop but I decided to "Just Do It" and bought it on the spot. That proved to be the right choice as my laptop fitted perfectly into the bag when I got home to try. Now I'm one very happy boy with a new unique Nike bag. Oh, and the reason I like Nike so much? No, not because I'm a brand-faced faggot, but because when you buy a Nike product, you can be sure that you have a 95% chance of NOT having anyone along Orchard road carrying exactly the same product as you, aka not like some other sports brands out there.

So here it is, my spanking new, cool-looking Nike Sling Bag for all to drool over. No, I'm just kidding don' drool over it. I want it back dry.

Nike Sling

PPP : PAYjr

Here's a great way to provide your child with additional cash when needed while at the same time teaching him/her a thing or two about Financial Education. Introducing the new Visa Buxx. It is a great Prepaid Teen Card that enables your teen to learn how to manage money with a debit card but at the same time you stay in control by being able to see all the card activity. They have seperate cards for kids under 12 and those 13 and above, each with unique ways to teach your child to manage his/her money.

For example, for those below 13, they have a cool Chores Online system that enables parents to pay their kids for completing simple household chores or other goals. This is a useful method of teaching them about responsibility. For the teens above 13, parents can always monitor their spending habits and load money into the prepaid card directly from your bank account. You can even suspend the card if your child isn't keeping to his/her end of the bargain. It's cheaper than other teen programs and even costs less than free teen checking accounts. So head on down and get your kid a prepaid card now!

And the Answers Are...

Time to reveal the answers to this week's Double Trouble GuestStar Guess-It. Did any of you manage to get any one of the two right? I know I didn't.

I would love to reveal both the answers at the same time, but that would just kill all the fun right? Ok, who am I kidding. Since Gattina has yet to submit her answer, I guess we will just have to make do with Michelle's answer for the time being. Gattina! Don't keep us in suspense any longer!!

So here's the answer to Michelle's Guess-It...

GuestStar Answer 2

Quoted from Michelle herself "Here's the whole picture! These are over head lights in the Odyssey Maritime Discovery Center in Seattle. They are made from buoys."

Geez... But I still think they look like golfballs. Haha.

Anyway, the only person who was close to the answer was our very consistant Mar. So I shall dub thee this week's winner! Congratz~

Thanks again to Michelle for this week's Guess-It. Gattina, we're still waiting for your answer!

Here Comes Super Auntie

Ok. It's official. The aunties in Singapore are capable of doing anything to make sure they are the first to everything or make their every cent worthwhile. Apart from the usual squeezing to the front of the queue just to make sure they will be the first to board the train/bus in order to be the first to get a seat, yesterday I spotted another heroic act in the form of Super Auntie!

I was on a packed train heading for Bugis to meet a friend when I spotted Super Auntie right in front of my eyes. I was standing somewhere near the door and she was seated right in front of me and I could see very clearly what she was doing. Her position was [planned?] directly between 2 uncles who had Chinese Newspapers in their hands, which most probably was due to her rushing in before the rest of the crowd too. So in order to make the most of the money she paid to take the train, she decided that it was only fair to get a glimpse of the news too. Now her whole body was in a comfortably seated position and only her eyes switched side to side to read whatever non-interesting news that she could get a glimpse of. I kid you not.ONLY HER EYES WERE MOVING! Another classic example of Super Auntie showing off her prowless in public. I've added a small flash animation to illustrate the situation clearer...

PPP : Spy Sweeper

$$$ This is a PayPerPost Advert $$$

Everybody knows that in today's age of mordern technology and computers, viruses and spywares are the new "atomic bombs" in the society. Even a simple virus program or spyware programmed by a curious 16 year old teen could wreck havoc throughout the world. I too have personally had a massive struggle with spyware. I work in a school and am in charge of the IT stuff that goes around here. One day I noticed that my USB thumbdrive was acting weird, asking me what type of program I want to open it with when I plug it in. So I did a search on the Internet and within minutes discovered that it was in fact infected with a RavMonE trojan. This spyware will copy itself to the infected computer and replicate to any USB thumbdrive that is plugged into it. And from there it spreads like wildfire. As a result, I had to go rond the entire school checking each and every computer for the trojan and removing it. If only I found out about Spy Sweeper sooner. That would have saved me all the hassle as it would detect and remove almost all known spyware from the computers and thumbdrives. Dubbed by many computer magazines as one of the best spyware removers, it's definitely value for money. What's mroe it even comes with FREE customer support. So free your computer from spyware now!

Down Memory Lane

If you were like me, you would have spent a good part of your childhood watching kids programmes on TV. No, I'm not talking about today's disasterous cartoons like Spongebob Squarepants or The Fairly Odd Parents, but good old [and logical] shows like sesame street and The Original Power Rangers [The ones who had a face and a robot for a leader instead of a dog].

And with a bit of luck, I came across this old-school video from youtube of one of my favourite shorts on Sesame Street, now before you start hopping away, singing "Lalalala... lalalalala..." aka Elmo Song, watch and learn how the pros did it back then. And they did it without having to say a single comprehensable English word too. There's no school like the old school...

Global Peace Day

SCROLL DOWN FOR MY WORDLESS WEDNESDAY GUESS-IT
IT'S AFTER THIS POST!!

Anyhowblog's Peace Globe

Today is the day where all Peace Bloggers around the world unite. Founded by the one and only Mimi - Queen of Pencil Skirts, today is the day we celebrate the joy and happiness of having peace in our world. Almost every peace blogger today will be posting about some happy ending or inspiring poem that will pull at your heart strings and make you believe that the world is oh-so-great. But we can't run away from the facts. War is here. And it won't be going away anytime soon. Not even with a thousand peace bloggers hoping for peace, not even with a million. We can only do what we can, the rest is up to the people who really control whether or not that red button is pushed.

I'm just here to remind all of us how sad and painful war can be. Hopefully we don't have to see repeats of such pictures again in the future.

WAR DOESN'T DETERMINE WHO IS RIGHT, IT JUST DETERMINES WHO IS LEFT.

WARNING : Images below might seem graphic and painful to some. Do not continue if you have a very weak heart.

Finally I'm a Free Man!

Woo! It's finally over! After almost 48 hours of endless formulas, Xs and Ys, calculator button bashing and the rare computer game inbetween, my Maths Bridging Course has finally come to an end with the completion of the exam paper yesterday. Now I am finally free to enjoy 'working' in school during the school holidays.

Anyway back to yesterday's paper. Having done almost all of the past year papers almost 3 times each [yes, I was THAT free], I was feeling really confident that I would be able to take anything that our dear Dr Toon could throw at us. And I was half right. Breezed through the first few parts of the paper but strangely I got stuck on one of the parts that has never given me any trouble before. And I was stuck there for almost 15 minutes. Luckily I managed to find my [stupid] careless mistake and get it all right in the end. Heck, i even managed to check through my entire answer sheet and find another 3 careless mistakes. But all was not meant to be, as after I left the hall and discussed a few of the questions with my pals, I sadly discovered that I would not be able to top the class as a full-mark scorer as I had about a total of 10 marks worth of questions wrong. Damn. In any case, I would be devestated if I didn't get a Distinction for this subject. Too easy man.
