22 bored people said something about this What makes a good credit card? And what makes a good credit card greater? We all know the answer to this, which is of course the amount of benefits that we, the comsumer, can get from signing up with that company. Most of the time companies will offer discounts with partnered stores or even the ability to accumulate points. Some even offer you 0% interest on purchases. But as we all know, when it comes to credit card benefits, more is always better. So here's a uk credit card that will surely tickle your fancy. Apart from it's stylish rounded edge design that will surely catch people's attention, it also boosts not one but three 0% benefits as well as a 14.9% APR (variable) which is definitely lower than your typical credit company. Not to mention free online management, no annual fee and even 24 hours MINT customer service. With so much benefits to it's name, what's there not to like? So head on down and take a look now. 0 bored people said something about this Missed me? Hope you didn't get unneccessarily alarmed by the fact that i haven't blogged for 3 days in a row. But anyway, the most important thing is that I'm back for more blogging today! This week is the start of the school holidays. It's supposed to be heaven on earth for me since most of the teachers and students will not be around to harrass me with problems with their laptops or computers, but just for this week I can't kick back into low gear and enjoy the scenery just as yet. The reason? My uni's Maths exam that I'll be sitting for this coming Monday. So, while I'm totally free in school this week, I'll be kept busy by the tons of past year Maths exam papers that I will be doing and redoing over and over again. Why? They expect me to get a B in order for me to be admitted into my course. Bloody elitists. And as for the happenings back home, recently I've been forced to spend most of my precious weekend hours following my family around looking for furniture/lightings/utilities for the new house. Just yesterday we spent almost 2 hours at some shop choosing the TVs for our rooms and another 2 hours deciding on the lights for every room in the house. I never knew getting a new house included so much hassle. At the rate that we are spending and the amount of stuff that needs to be done, most probably the excess cash from the sale of the house would be used to redo/furnish the new house... Oh, and I still haven't even started to pack my clothes yet. Ok time for me to get back to hitting my exam papers. Oh btw, we have another special Guest for tommorrow's Guess-It. Whoever could it be? Stay tuned to find out... Anyhow written on May 29, 2007 at 10:00 AM
0 bored people said something about this Did I mention that this week's WW : Guess-It was a special 10th Anniversary edition specially made easy so that players could have boosted morale rather than always not getting the answer right and having to check back on Friday to see what it really is?? Who and I kidding... Haha. Apparent from this week's Guess-It, I seem to be running out of unusual stuff for my loyal readers to guess. So much so that almost everyone who took a stab at this week's Guess-It deserves a mention in my weekly Results Show. Yup. 80% of you got the answer right. So I guess the only advantage is that I don't have so much explain to do. Alright, back to this week's answer.... Yup, it's obviously a tiny comfortable deck chair... That your beloved mobile can take a quick rest when you're not yakkady-yakking off into it And now for some major link love... Cheers to local newcomers to WW, Kerlynz and DitzyQueen, regular smartys jams o donnell, tricotine, Shaz, gattina, letha and melanie and finally, new visitors jenn in Holland and barrow-wight for ALL, yes ALL of you got it right... I must be losing my touch. Hence you can see that I'm desperately in need of better Guess-It suggestions. So please please please please send in your Guess-It suggestions to anyhowblogs@gmail.com. It's simple. Just send a picture of your Guess-It [more are welcomed] and a short hint about what it could be and I'll gladdy post it up this Wednesday. Due credit will definitely be given of course. Then all you have to do next is to email the answer picture(s) and description to the same email and I'll post it up when it's due. If you label your emails clearly enough I promise not to peek at the answer and have a guess myself! So pretty pretty please send in some suggestions, or I might have to cut of a body part for next week's Guess-It. Special thanks goes out to Melanie for the suggestion about using comments moderation to make the competition fairer, but sometimes the more you read other people's different the answers, the less confident you become of your own answer, even though it might be the right one. So to me it actually makes it more interesting. Happy Guessing! Anyhow written on May 25, 2007 at 3:31 PM
8 bored people said something about this Did you hear about the newest addition to the PayPerPost family? Introducing the new "PPP Direct". Now advertisers who are interested in having you post PayPerPost adverts on your blog can approach you almost directly instead of having to hope that that particular owner of that blog which they are keen to have their advert on chooses to write about them from that long list of oppurtunities. Now bloggers have the power to name their price instead of having to settle for what ever the advertisers offer, but at the same time have the safety and security of the PayPerPost team who will ensure that you get paid for your hard work. Unlike other competitors who charge a 50-100% markup and keep half your money, PPP Direct only charges a 10% fee, in which 5% goes to transaction fees for PayPal and credit card processing. So stop wasting time reading this and start earning money from PPP Direct now! Anyhow written onat 3:19 PM
0 bored people said something about this This week has been full of surprises so far. I haven't had a proper night's rest since Monday. And tonight is gonna be another long night. Sometimes I wonder if I could get used to it and not feel tired from sleeping only 5 hours a day everyday. Tuesday night was a strange night where we had to come up with something to surprise a friend's girl on her birthday. And to make matters worse, we only had the 2 hours after school to think of, prepare and setup that surprise before her birthday was over. Luckily we managed to get it all together and deliver as promised just a few minutes before midnight. But boy was it tiring. If we had to do this for every friend, I would move out of the country. Yesterday wasn't too peaceful either. We had a sort of Fun and Games Day in school where the kids spend the day competing in all forms of activities like basketball, badminton etc etc, and for the grand finale, we had the "Teachers versus Students" captain ball game. Although I would say the teachers kinda cheated because half of the team were not official teachers teaching students int the school but rather employed workers of the school. And I happened to be 1 of them. Anyway, we kinda owned the kids badly because 1. We always had a tall catcher [2 tallest in our team would swap around] 2. We had 2 key players : The tall, flying interceptor and the tricky playmaker. I can bet you that the game wouldn't have gone so smoothly without the both of us. Yup. Kelvin and Me owned the game. Any high-flying long pass made by the students would be duely taken over by our spring-legged, long armed volleyball pro. And obviously the offensive team would not have worked out without the attacking creativity of yours truely. Finding that unmarked player and faking the opponents seemed to be so easy that day. Did I also mention I was the first to score? Anyway, the students didn't have much chance because they lacked offense. The only real threat to us was the pro thunderer of their team. [Who was also their tall defender and main attacking force]. Any loose ball picked up by him on the defensive would immediately be sent flying directly to their catcher with pin-point accurracy. Fortunately he got tired during the second half and his thunders started to come in short enough for our defender to block it. Anyway, the day wasn't over after that. In the evening I accompanied PiPi and a couple of good friends to the dentist and after that we went down to Simpang Bedok for some late night gaming. It kinda sucks playing with too good a team because the opposite team will start leaving one by one even before we reach level 6. That's why tonight we are gonna pit our skills against a proper clan team who have been playing together for some time. Hopefully we don't fare too badly because this is the first time we are really playing against a proper, full team. Guess I'll only get not more than 5 hours of sleep tonight too. 0 bored people said something about this Do you play Trickster? It's an online game that promises to be a hit. For players who are already playing the game, don't you feel that looking for a specific item or weapon is harder than finding a needle in a haystack? And it gets worse if you are the one trying to sell off that special item but it always seems that nobody is interested after hours of shouting. Well, now you don't have to waste countless hours shouting about or hunting for that specific item as you can just search through the trickster forums for that hard to get item that you need. For sellers, just post whatever you are selling and wait for interested parties to offer. If you're more interested in the gaming itself, you can always check out the trickster guides that will definitely make you more knowledgable in the game. Anyhow written onat 3:10 PM

20 bored people said something about this Are you in need of some financial help? Have you ever considered applying for bank loans? With so many banks out there offering competitive interest rates on loans, it's always hard to choose the right one. But before you decide to apply for a bank loan, have you ever wondered where your loan money comes from? Now at co-operativebank, you can rest assured that the money you borrowed has not come from profits of unnecessary pollution, human rights abuses or other unethical pracitices because of their strict ethical policy. And with a 6.9% APR typical for loans between £7,500 to £25,000, you can be assured that you are getting one of the lowest interest rates in town. There's even a loan calculator and budget planner on their website for those financially savvy people who want to get more out of their buck. So head on down and take a look now. 1 bored people said something about this Some things in this world can never be explained. Most of the time we just brush past them without even thinking about why it is this way but in actual fact, nobody can really explain some of the facts of life. Here's a small list of the amazing facts of life that we don't take notice of in our everyday lives. Fact of Life #86 : Public Pooing - The Single-Wiper Have you ever done your business and gotten a single-wiper? You know, the kind where everything is clean in one single wipe? I bet you have. But have you ever realised that most of the time this only happens when you are having some business at home. On the other hand, whenever you take a shit in any place not named "Home Sweet Home", it always seems to become a super multi-wiper. I've personally experienced this first-hand. I have took number of dumps at my workplace so far and I can tell you that I should have used up a total of at least 1 whole roll of toilet paper. Fact of Life #13 : User Manuals Nobody knows why they kill thousands of trees each day to print something as redundant as usual manuals. I'm not talking about manuals for complicated items like handphones or cameras where you would be lost if not for those holy bibles. I'm referring to simple stuff like electric kettles and standing fans and such. Don't tell me you need instructions on how to press the ONLY button on that new electric kettle to start boiling the water inside of it. Even than, who actually reads these manuals anyway? When you get a new laptop, is ripping out the user manual and reading it from cover-to-cover the first thing you do? NO WAY! You'll just whip out your shiny new toy and start playing around with it immediately. So this is actually one of the areas where we are actually wasting tons of resources on. Might as well save on the manuals and provide me a tree instead. Than I can have some shade in my room during the afternoon. Fact of Life #67 : The Internet has ALL the Answers Unbelievable but true. For any question or problem that you have, an equally satisfying answer can and will be found on the Internet. It's just a matter of how much time you waste reaching that answer. Want to learn to cook a dish? The big I knows how. Got a question on some matters not too convienent to discuss in the open? The big I can answer your questions. Heck, the big I even has the solution to your problems installing themes on your mobile phone. But it took me almost 3 hours of relentless googling and scanning of pointless forums that only ask more questions than to provide the answer to find it. Don't believe me? Try a search on "Why the Internet has all the answers". Fact of Life #22 : The Fattest Are the Fastest A simple survey conducted at random bus stops around the area concluded that fat people are actually faster than skinny people. But only in the case of boarding the bus/train. Have you noticed that the first person to get on the bus is more likely than not a plump, overweight person? And more often than not, he/she will not have his coins/card ready and end up blocking the entire entrance way in the process of searching for his payment. This is especially true during rainy days when the people in the bus stop do not have umbrellas with them. So next time you see a fat person at the bus stop who looks like he's going to board the same bus as you, you can either elbow him in the gut and get in front of him, or wait for everyone else to board and then board peacefully, but with a lesser chance of finding a seat. Personally I'll choose the elbow. Fact of Life #101 : Not Hearing Your Name is a Good Thing Every person has a unique name that defines that person. So it's good to have people call your name right? WRONG. Most of the time when your name is called, it would sound something like this "[insert your name here], could you take out the trash for me?" or "[insert your name here]! Don't touch that!" These are still minor callouts for your names, but imagine these situations "Look out [insert your name here]! That elephant is gonna sh*t on you!" or "Hey, isn't that [insert your name here]'s dad playing on that mini tricycle?" And the closest we could ever get into something good is "And the first prize goes to.... Mr/Mrs [insert your name here but replace or add 1 letter somewhere]! Congratulations!" So the fact is, the less the you and the rest world hears of your name, the better. I could go on and on and turn this into a book but I'm getting bored of writing about anything critical that randomly pops into my head. Maybe you guys out there would like to contribute to this list and we might even be able to turn it into something big. But for now I think it's time for me to take my pill and come back to the real world... Anyhow written on May 22, 2007 at 1:56 PM

0 bored people said something about this What the hell is going on today? Why does everybody in the office suddenly want a piece of me? Ok, everybody knows everyone wants a piece of me, but why are they are asking for my services, not for me! It seems that suddenly I've become the hottest guy in the staff room and teachers are calling my name relentlessly hoping that I will be able to do magic and split myself into 10 pieces and attend to each and everyone of them at the same time. I didn't even get to warm my chair for more than 30 minutes without somebody in peril screaming my name, hoping for their superhero to come save them. Not only that, I couldn't get any PayPerPost opps for the last 3 days. What is the world coming to? Luckily for me this will be the last week of school before the school holidays begin. And that is the time when I will be paid to slack my ass off in school doing practically nothing for the entire day. I love my job, just not for today. Anyways, that explains the super late post today. Oh, and did I mention that we will be moving out soon? Almost everything that can be packed has already been stuffed into cardboard boxes. I never know that we had so many things in our house. It looks like a freaking warehouse! Look at all the boxes! Oh, and I have 1 more problem. I can't seem to get any downloaded themes to be installed onto my N73. This just pisses me off. Either they say the file type is not supported, or give a lame error about an expired certificate. Who cares about any certificate? Just give me the damn theme! And the best part is, the install file for the themes that can't work are .sis files, but another .sis file that I used from the same webby to install a different program works! If anybody has a solution to the this problem I will glady reward him/her handsomely for his help. I don't wanna live with a boring blue Nokia screen for the rest of my life! HELP!!! 1 bored people said something about this This week's Guess-It was pretty tricky. My apologies for misleading you guys with a wrong clue. Anyway I don't think a 300cm ruler even exists in this world. But the most important clue was the one from the start. Remember I said All is not what it seems. I was actually trying to tell you that although I said it was a "black box", it wasn't really a "box" to begin with. Here's some pics so you guys might understand what the hell I'm blabbering about... It isn't really a box... look at the back view of it. Now here's the trick. Flick it over and you will go "Oohhhhhhhh!!!" And if you still haven't figured it out [what?? Which planet did you come from?], here's what you're supposed to do with it... It's the battery to my laptop! I told you this week was sneaky. Let's see, we've got a whooping total of 1 winners this week! Congrats to Gattina for being the sole winner this week. Sadly we didn't have any humourous winner this week. By the way, I'm still waiting for people to send in their Guess-It submissions to anyhowblogs@gmail.com. So far I've received none apart from Shaz's. I know you guys have some unsual and wierd stuff to share so come on, just drop me an email with a picture of the item and a small hint and I'll post it up for the next WW. You can choose to send me the pics for the answers anytime before Friday [I promise not to peak] so I can post it up. Come on peeps, lemmie in on some guessing fun too! Could it be due to the lack fo sleep these few days? Who know? So I can do today is to get something from the net that doesn't require me to think. And here they are.

0 bored people said something about this Finally! After having to superglue my soles of my shoes back on almost every week, I finally found a new pair of nike shoes to call my own. Why nike? I don't know. I have been a loyal nike supporter since secondary school. I guess apart from having that cool and sleak design, the best thing about nike shoes is that you have less than a 5% chance of spotting someone with the exact same pair of shoes along which ever street you are walking on. That's cos nike's stock are so limited, as you will see later on. So to start things off, here's a couple of pics of my new babies... from the top and the side It actually came with black laces, but I bought additional red laces and look how perfectly it blends in with the shoes. Granted it may look like ordinary black soccer boots from the pictures but I assure you the pictures don't do this X-Training babies any justice. And I even had to go down to Vivo City from Suntec to get my size. See how limited the shoes are. It wouldn't surprise me if they only have like 1 pair per size per design per outlet. But that's the great thing about nike shoes. You're almost garanteed a unique pair of shoes that no one else has. The only other setback of this pair is that it's not as elevated as my previous pair, making my goal of reaching 170cm slightly tougher. Oh well, I guess I'll just have to spike my hair higher up then..... Anyhow written on May 15, 2007 at 10:32 AM
0 bored people said something about this I love PayPerPost. Not just because I've earned a substantial amount of cash from doing simple adverts on my blog, but also because of the fact that they themselves come up with fantastic PayPerPost oppurtunities themselves. For those who still don't know what PayPerPost is, you don't know what you're missing out on! It's a simple process of blog marketing where all you have to do is to write a simple 100 to 200 word post about a product and you're a few dollars richer. And the best part is you choose what you want to write about. Now back to HDTV Tuesdays. Now, not only can you earn cash from PayPerPost, you can even win great prizes. They will be adding cool audio and video equipment to specially marked oppurtunities every Tuesday of the month. Prizes that have already been grabbed up include Apple TV and PS3. And from what I heard, you could be walking home with a Slingbox, Nintendo Wii, Yamaha Surround Sound System and many more prizes today [15 May 2007]. All these prizes are sponsored by the good people at Bid4Prizes. So if you haven't signed up for PayPerPost yet, now is a good a time as any to start. You could even win a great prize on your very first post if you're lucky. Anyhow written onat 8:56 AM
0 bored people said something about this Letha over at A Stitch In Time has tagged me with the Music Question and here's what I gotta do: - Start Copy - 1. Go to www.popculturemadness.com 2. Pick the year you turned 18 3. Get yourself nostalgic over the song's of the year 4. Write something about how the song affected you 5. Pass it on to 5 more friends - Stop Copy - So let's take a few steps back in time... [OOooo... Look at the swirly colours...] The Boy : A young, not-so-dashing-looking-as-now Mr anyhow The Year : 2002 Playing on the radio : Cleanin' Out My Closet - Eminem (edited) Well, I wasn't really a big music fan during that age. Most of my time was spent on training Taekwondo or on the computer, but this is one song that I particularly liked. I've always admired Eminem's ability to transpose a song from his bad childhood / love life / etc and not to mention it sounds good too, although sometimes there's just a tad too much swearing. Anyway, didn't really like the lyrics of the song, [something about keeping skeletons in your closets] but what really hit me was the music. You know how most rap music sound like you could reproduce the entire thing with items found in your kitchen? Well, this one wasn't one of them. It had just the right mix of "noise" and actual music with a pinch of punk attitude. And that describes perfectly what all us teens were about during that age. Playing on the radio : Girlfriend - N Sync & Nelly This song has particular meaning to me. 2002 was the year PiPi and me first got together. And it was coincidently around the time this song was released too. Learnt much from the song about how to treat a girl right. The first year was hard for us. So many people didn't approve of our relationship and said that it wouldn't last long. Well, take a look as us now. *Bleh* Everytime I hear this song I would think of PiPi. Ok, now all I have left to do is to pass the flaming torch. Let's hope it doesn't burn any of these people's fingers... You're up next guys and gals: 1. My Cuz, Andrina 2. The Queen Bee, Empress Bee Of the High Sea 3. Newfound friend and collegue, Kelvin 4. The Queen of MeMes herself, Mimi 5. Miss Jappy Singaporean, Yumi Anyhow written on May 14, 2007 at 1:15 PM
4 bored people said something about this Have you ever had those days where everything just seems to go wrong? Well, yesterday was one of those days. Woke up in the early morning with a tap for a nose due to the cold weather outside, therefore I had to eat my medication as my first meal of the day. When i reached school, I was called up to the computer labs to assist in some Computer Administration exam [read clerk-work exam]. Seems that even though I checked through the 2 labs the previous day, there were still millions of printers that were either out of ink or not printing properly. So there I was, running between the 2 labs, solving printer problem after printer problem so that those bloody kids could print their exam submissions. Heck it was them who spoilt the printers in the first place. I mean how else could the ribbon cable inside the printer be broken and dangling out from the front of the printer? And my problems didn't end there. Only after the 2nd batch of classes came into the labs did I realise that I had lent my thumbdrive to a student of the previous class to save his work [that damn floppy drives where not working] and he didn't return it to me. Anyway after that whole episode, it was already time of lunch. Ran up and down searching for my thumbdrive and when I finally found the boy who took it, he simply told me that the teacher had kept it for me. Well, true enough when I got back to my seat, [just before lunch] my thumbdrive was placed neaty on my laptop, making me do all that running for nothing. Luckily there wasn't much problems for me after lunch. But wait, the story doesn't end here. Was feeling tired and down when I came back home therefore I decided to take a rollerblading trip to East Coast Park to relax myself. So I slipped on my blades and made my way along the streets to the park. Then just as I was crossing the carkpark entrance of Mandrin Gardens, [which has slopes on either side of the pavements leading to the road] a big, fat white Mercedes driven by a balding uncle almost knocked me down when he was coming out of the carpark and as I was crossing the entrance. Let me explain. The slope to the road and the exit to the main road for the cars at a 90 degree angle so I can't really see the cars that are coming out. Anyway normally there would me little or no cars coming from that exit from my experience going along that route. So as I was on blades, naturally I had to roll down the slope and just as I started to roll, I saw the fat car coming out. I tried to brake but since the slope was only like 0.5m long, I didn't get much success and only managed to stop myself directly in front of the car's path. Luckily that old uncle had the common sense to stop for me. Although he did give me a loud honking and a shake of his head. So anyway, I finally made my way safely to the park. Oh, did I mention that I had a very uneasy feeling when I put on my blades at home? It felt extra slippery and ungrippy than usual. So there I was, happily speeding along the park's pathway taking in the sights and breeze. And as usual, the stuntman in my took preceedings over the smart man and started to jump over those pesky road humps that were supposed to make you slow down at almost every 200m or less. Note: I have been jumping humps since secondary school so it's nothing new to me. But as this day was evily bad, I finally took a digger on one of my jumps. And boy was it a hard one. By the way, I still don't understand why they use the same, uneven material they use on roads to make the cycling/blading paths in the park. Don't they know that it hurts real bad when you fall on that type of rough surface?? Anyway, back to my story. So as I took a jump over one of the many humps, I landed on my feet but lost my balance and started falling backwards. Don't ask me why but I instinctly turned my body around so that I could better cushion my fall with my hands [i think]. Wrong move. The fall was too fast and I ended up almost face down on the path. A pretty girl on a bicycle just behind me managed to avoid running over my fingers and stopped to ask "Are you alright?" Again my ego took first place over my coomon sense and I told her it was nothing. Yeah. Nothing but me bleeding quite badly from my chin and right knee. I took many falls before but this was one of the first times where I injured my chin on a fall. After washing off all the red, I managed to blade around without incident for another half hour before making my way back home. And it was only at home when I realised that the cut on my chin was actually quite deep. I couldn't really see it clearly even in the mirror because it was somewhere behind the up-arching portion of the chin. But when I got home to the toilet, I saw that the bleeding hasn't really stopped. And it didn't really stop until this morning even with all the pressure and tissue applied to the wound. It's hard to imagine that a small little hole the size of a 0.5 mechanical pencil lead could lead to so much blood lost. Here's a few photos of my injuries... Yucky right? And that's ain't the end of it either! After dinner I proceeded with my usual gaming.I was gaming halfway when this damn Acer laptop overheated again and went to a blank screen with a poop! Again this was not the first time, but it gets really frustrating when you email those idiots at Acer who send you a case ID but never get back to you for months about solving your problem. Anyway, I did some research on the net and it seems that many people with this laptop are experiencing this problem too. One of them said that he defragged his laptop and suddenly the fan came to life. And he hasn't had overheating problems since then. So I thought, what the heck, and gave defragging a try. And guess what, left it on almost overnight only to find out that it got stuck at 19% and didn't move on after that. Well, at least today's a new day and I doubt there will be any other day that can be worse than all those things that happened to me yesterday... Wish me luck. 0 bored people said something about this Ok. Time to reveal this week's answer! I must say this week's Guess-It by Shaz was tough one. I would have never gotten it right if he didn't send me the answer. So do we have winners this week? Scroll down to find out... . . . . . . . . . . . . And here it is... It's a cleverly designed little device that attracts the clever wasps who can fly vertically up into the "cage" but seem to have difficulty flying vertically down and out of it. All you have to do is to bait them with something inside. Oh, and the other problem is finding a safe way to release them when you're bored of playing with them in there. This week we have a solitairy winner cum first time player by the name of Calamity Jane. 10/10 for the exactness of the answer! And you guessed it, this week's humourous award goes out to elasticwaistbandlady for the LMAO [Laugh My Ass Off] answer of : Well, i wouldn't mind using it as stated, but don't you think it's a tat hard to aim all your piss into that tiny little hole? And for all you aspiring Guess-It players, remember that I'm still looking for more Guest Star Guess-Its. All you have to do is to send in a picture [more are definitely welcomed] of your Guess-It to anyhowblogs@gmail.com with a short hint and I'll post it up on my WW ASAP. You can then send me the picture/pictures of the answer in another email. Remember to state that its the answer in the subject so I won't accidently take a peak! And if you do that, I'll join in the fun in guessing too! So send in your pictures quick! Anyhow written onat 12:55 PM
7 bored people said something about this Here's a quick question for you to rack your brains with... There are 2 identical treasure chests that are guarded by 2 identical looking guards. One chest contains gold, the other, only rocks. One of the guards will always tell the truth, the other will always tell a lie. But you don't know which is which. By asking only 1 question to either of the guards, how can u determine which chest is the one with the booty? Let's all rattle our brains and try to guess the answer. The answer will be revealed on Monday's post if nobody has got it right by then. Good luck guessing! Anyhow written onat 10:33 AM

23 bored people said something about this My New Room Will Be Like... Part II Sorry for the late post, was suppose to get this in last night but reached home too tired after a whole evening of shopping. So here comes part II of my new room. And this time, with many pics too. Here's the floor plan I've come up with for my room. Click on it to see a larger picture. As you can see if you click on the picture, the designer in me has divided the room into 2 parts, with the halves cutting diagonally across the room from the door. click to enlarge The top right half will be the pureness and whiteness of my new bed room set, while the bottom left will have more coolness and mystery about it from all that frosted glass tables and shelf. Hopefully it will feel as minimalist as it looks with all the clean lines and defined angles. And here's a picture of what my beautiful new bed looks like... click to enlarge It also comes complete with a matching pure white wardrobe and dressing table... And here's the dressing table. The only thing that I didn't fall in love at first sight with. Maybe because of the colour of the drawers. I forgot to take photos of the frosted glass tables and shelf but rest assured I'll post them right up as soon as I get them. By the way, my bedroom set was titled "Elegance". And I only knew of it after I choose it. Guess that says a lot about me. Can't wait to see the final product of all these nights of hard planning and discussions... 0 bored people said something about this I feel like Brian Wong in "Bai Jia Le" trying to design the perfect theme for my new room. I already have a theme in mind, which would be a clean, mordern look with clean striaght lines and a pure, classy finish. Pure and Simple Minimalist. That's my theme for my new room. Already found my bedroom set: A classy, white queen-sized bed frame with silver-lining that comes complete with a matching sliding-door wardrobe and dressing table. Will upload the pictures when I get home tonight. Also got my room all planned out. Everything from the bed and wardrobe positions to the placing of my Mickey Mouse JigSaw puzzle have been carefully planned out so as to make my room as clean and spacious as possible. Now all that's left to do is to find a matching white or glass based L-shaped study table, a couple of classy chairs [I still haven't decided if it's gonna be those elastic-band office chairs or bar-like swivel plastic round chairs. Will be heading down to Funan after work to look at some furniture at V. Hive. Heard they have lots of glass study tables and a couple of fancy chairs too. Hopefully I can find most of the stuff I need cos home shopping is really tiring. We've been at it for almost a week and we're not even half done. And it's definitely wearing me out and more importantly eating into my study and gaming timings. My room is gonna be as beautiful and suave as me! Wahahaha... 0 bored people said something about this Here's the answer to this week's WW : Guess-It. Seems like the everyone was split between 2 sides this week, some going for pencil sharpener while the rest thought it was an air freshener. Who's right and who's wrong? Or might even be neither of theses two! Scroll down to find out the answer! This is the rear view of our cute little thing... And this is what it looks like from the bottom... See that container with yellowish liquid? Yup, you guessed it. It's a automatic timed air freshener that shoots out a scented breath of perfume every few minutes with a cute little "puff" sound. Not sure if you saw the advert before but it was cute the way the kid counted the number of puffs till about 1700+, even while he was in the toilet. You guys seem to be getting good at this. The sale of the house has been comfirmed, the purchase of the new flat almost done, heck, we've even started choosing what colour our walls are going to be painted and how our furniture will be arranged. We'll be moving to Simei street 1 some 100+ block i think. Probably about 3 minutes walk to the MRT. Here's a map for a clearer picture. Click on it to enlarge. 15 bored people said something about this Here's a new concept of web listings to look at. Big Web Links isn't like your typical search engine where anything and everything depends on Page Rank [PR]. instead users can bid web sites that they own to get higher up in the listings. This is ideal for people who don't have a very strong Page Rank but still want their websites to be one of the first people will look at. All you have to do is to match the bid amount for the first page and you've got yourself onto the first place of your catergory's listings! Anyhow written onat 10:24 AM
